Continuous (R)Evolution

Summer of 2022 I had the opportunity to create a branding concept for Continuous (R)Evolution, a consulting company in Denver dedicated to creating more diverse and inclusive spaces in the workplace.

Process

I typically work in three stages when creating a brand concept for a client, where we will first discuss their wants and needs, then enter an extensive drafting process. Then once I have what I need to produce their full concept, we begin flushing out ideas in color and physical design. Below, have a glimpse into the process whilst working with Continous (R)Evolution.

Client Brainstorming

The client and I discussed their 3 main concept desires when it came to the branding of their company:

Movement

Simplicity

Encapturing of Change

We spent 2 sessions discussing these concepts and the deliverables the client wanted. In this instance, they were interested in a logo, branding concept, and a website.

Logo Brainstorm

When creating different logos I wanted to ensure the designs upheld the different concepts we had discussed, either independently or simultaneously. Therefore, you may see very direct-looking logos as well as logos with flowing connections in our initial draft.

Final Logo

After three rounds of drafts and some added color to complete the client's desire for the feel of the Caribbean Sea, we settled on the two logos you see here. The client liked that the primary logo resembled a turning record, as it embodied the movement and change between groves (or mindsets in our case) that the client strives to achieve in their work. The secondary logo is a more modern and colorized version of its partner design. I like to ensure that my clients have many options when moving through each process, be it draft or final designs.

Brand Concept

After logo drafting and more conversations about feeling, purpose, and color, I put together a full brand concept for the client. What you see here is the final product of the client’s concept wishes, an embodiment of flow in a minimalist yet colorful way along with practical applications such as business card mock-ups, and web banners.

This is a classic example of a final product when working on a branding concept with me.
